My focus is Divorce law and child custody. But I want to go back to the traditional goals of a lawyer,back to the time when a family lawyer was someone to call whenever there was some kind of problem.

Although at first Barbara was my attorney and advocate, she soon became a trusted friend. She never promised more than the law would allow yet she fought as hard for me as if she were my sister. Barbara Behrens is a wonderful woman, but further and more important she is good at what she does. She is a divorce attorney and is brilliant when it comes to representing clients. I have seen her in the court room and in the office. I have always been thoroughly impressed with her work. She is a wonderful attorney and a genuinely caring person. One thing I find comforting about her as an attorney is that she keeps you very informed about what is going on in the case and she is always quick to returns phone calls.

I had an ongoing out of control legal issue to deal with (not a divorce) and I called many lawyers in St. Louis, but they were all intimidated by the matter so none of them would take me on as a client.
